At Tom Bawdy, we’re here to redefine boardshorts and bring you a bold and versatile contender for "Worlds greatest shorts" that you can truly conquer all in.
A year ago, after a particularly trying morning down at the beach chasing my kids around with chafeage after a failed attempt at a quick surf because I was wearing my stiff "swimshorts" I had a lightbulb moment.
I was fed up with the same old choices: stiff, baggy swim shorts that didn’t allow for any movement or performance boardies that were too long and lacked bold, standout patterns.
Don’t even get me started on those inner mesh panty liner things.
That’s when I decided to create something better.
After a year of countless prototypes, eco material sourcing and a lot of testing in and out of the water, I am proud to introduce The Tom bawdy Signature Boardshorts.
We’re a local Aussie brand from Sydney’s Northern Beaches. We live by the motto: work hard, play harder. We celebrate the wins, embrace the good times, have a zest for life & the ocean and love nothing more than shaking off the work week persona at 5pm (at the latest) on Friday!
Whether it’s surf/scuba/sail/snork/SUP, beach days with the fam, beach parties with the crew or after work margy's with the team, we’re all about making waves, having a laugh and doing life our way.
